The 11th edition of the Sharjah International Travel and Tourism Forum (SITTF) served as a key platform to explore the evolving landscape of global tourism. Under the theme “The Future of Tourism in the Fields of Digitization, Health, and Safety,” the event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and expert presentations, offering actionable insights to drive sector growth.
A major highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) with Sea Going Green, the American University of Sharjah (AUS), and Manbat—a platform by Arada fostering stronger connections between Emirati farmers and consumers. This agreement reinforced the Carbon Reduction Initiative, underscoring Sharjah’s commitment to sustainability and aligning with UAE and global environmental goals.
SITTF 2024 once again positioned Sharjah as a progressive leader in sustainable tourism, bridging industry innovation with responsible growth.
