Hosted in Saudi Arabia by CRIS and sponsored by Saudi Aramco, ChemIndix 2024 brought together global academia and industry to address sustainability challenges in oil, chemicals, and energy.
Delivering a seamless experience for this multifaceted conference was a challenge, as it featured pre-conference and in-conference training alongside the main sessions. A key element was the academic paper submission process, inviting industry professionals and students to submit abstracts. To streamline this, we developed a robust backend system for the event website, integrating a submission portal with a payment network. Over 600 entries were received, requiring a structured shortlisting process.
To enhance efficiency, we implemented an automated confirmation system, ensuring selected candidates promptly received notifications with their presentation schedules.
