Job Description

As the Account Manager in a marketing and events company, you will oversee key client relationships, manage the execution of marketing campaigns and events, and ensure that client expectations are met. You will serve as the main point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, project delivery, and the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Campaign and Event Management:
    Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns and events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Project Coordination:
    Collaborate with cross functional teams, including creative, production, and finance departments, to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
  • Budget Management:
    Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining profitability. Provide accurate cost estimates and track actual spend throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proposal Development:
    Lead the development of pitches, proposals, and presentations to win new business, working closely with creative and strategy teams to craft compelling solutions for prospective clients.
  • Performance Reporting:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management, preferably in marketing, advertising and events.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns and MEGA events
  • Experience working directly with government clients, managing relationships, and delivering successful results.
  • Strong background in budgeting, project management, and proposal development.
  • Prior experience in team leadership or mentoring is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
